Meisa Batayaneh, Halah Mansour and Samira Hawamleh of maisam, have participated in the Arab Women Engineer’s second annual forum that took place on the 12th and 13th of May 2012 in Beirut, Lebanon. The Forum was titled; the Arab Woman Engineer in the decision-making positions; and was organized by the Arab Women Engineers Committee in the Arab Engineers Union.The forum handled the empowerment of the Arab engineer woman, supporting her visions and career aspirations, as well as figuring out possibilities to diminish the logistic and regulative obstacles which prevent her from taking a leading role parallel to her fellow men engineers.
Meisa Batayneh presented a session titled 'architecture, a practice of creativity and giving; where she highlighted the responsibility and privilege of architects within their scope and community, and pointed out in a story-telling style how a project is tackled from an architect’s viewpoint.
