IT HUB

Location: Irbid, Jordan
Type: Education
Client: RHC

Jordan, a nation of limited resources but extraordinary human capital, has embraced innovation as a catalyst for growth. In line with the country’s vision, the concept of IT hubs adjacent to universities was introduced—a visionary approach to merge education with real-world application.

These hubs act as incubators, facilitators, and enablers, empowering students to transition seamlessly from learning to implementation while advancing Jordan’s position in the global tech landscape.

Maisam was tasked with master planning the first IT hub, located in the north of Jordan, adjacent to Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST). This region is celebrated for its rich agricultural landscape, a place where I vividly remember running through golden wheat fields as a child. Inspired by this context and the area’s striped agricultural patterns, we named the project Fields of Hope.

The master plan draws from the surrounding environment, blending the promise of technological innovation with the region’s timeless connection to the land.

The design creates an ecosystem for cutting-edge fields like Data Science, Virtual Reality, and Cybersecurity while celebrating the agricultural heritage that has shaped the community.

The result is a space that embodies progress, connection, and the enduring promise of hope.
